Server-based computing

Server-based computing describes a solution in which the "intelligence" and "logic" of applications are centralized. This means that the applications are installed on one or more servers, and a number of clients can use them. The main issue here is that the application is carried out on the various servers and not on the clients, and only the screen contents are transferred to the client. In this way, server based computing solutions can also be used to link external offices or branches.
